Armancette: an exclusive alpine refuge, where luxury meets nature

I am a mountain lover and expert skier, so I am pleased to propose to those who share my passion, a stay in the enchanting French Alps, in a charming resort, member of the Leading Hotels in the World, where you can also spend a wonderful holiday  in summer. Armancette is an intimate, exclusive yet welcoming and relaxed hotel, open all year round, located in the quiet hamlet of Saint-Nicolas-de-Véroce, a village with chairlift access to the entire Megève ski area and incredible views of Mount White. The ski area is extensive with Courmayeur (Italy), Verbier (Switzerland), Les Contamines and Chamonix (France) a short drive away.

In summer, hiking and mountain biking are close at hand. Geneva airport is approximately an hour away.

The elements of wood and stone predominate, the fabrics are elegant and colorful. The place has the atmosphere of a traditional and exclusive ski lodge, with the addition of fun and whimsical touches such as the street art-style murals in the underground garage.

The standout feature is the spa which is huge considering the size of the hotel and can be used by guests at no extra cost. It features a stainless steel indoor / outdoor pool, two outdoor hot tubs (also steel) and one granite indoor, plus a hammam, sauna and three treatment rooms, plus a sunny terrace with sunbeds overlooking the Mont Blanc.

   The 17 rooms are all different but include hardwood floors, cozy rugs, fur throws, and huge, ultra-comfortable beds. All rooms have furnished balconies and electric shutters plus heavy curtains ensure excellent sleep. Most of the marble bathrooms have a bathtub and shower. The hotel also offers three large luxury chalets right at the top of the hill.

    

   4. A genuine gastronomy

   Built on the site of a former bakery, the hotel includes a tea / patisserie room that still offers bread, pastries, and beautiful cakes made by the in-house baker for both hotel residents and locals alike. The restaurant has an immaculate show kitchen and a short menu of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, including many local ingredients.
