TOP 5 new Unesco heritage sites

As every year Unesco introduces new sites in the World Heritage List, and I'm always curious to know the updating, it's a bit like the Oscar award, only to be rewarded is the story, the art and culture of the countries of the world.
In 2019, 29 sites were declared a World Heritage Site, and I chose 5 of them.

1) Jaipur
At last ! This beautiful Indian city, a landmark on all Rajasthan tours, gets this important recognition. It is the “pink city”, so named for the dominant color of its buildings. The Palace od Winds is perhaps its most representative monument but there are so many things to see. Perhaps less known is the Jantar Mantar, where ingenious architecture can be admired in the service of astronomy and science.

2) The buildings of Frank Llyod Wright
I was talking about ingenious architectures but there are also buildings that affect the aesthetics out of the ordinary. Frank Lloyd Wright was a brilliant architect and as many as 8 buildings he designed are on the UNESCO list, like the Guggenheim in New York. The Waterfall House in Pennsylavania is definitely my favorite building!

3) The Icelandic National Park
Nature also creates wonderful works, which is why I choose the Icelandic National Park with the pivot of the Europe's largest glacier. Canyons, volcanoes, dark sands, frozen rivers form an amazing landscape.

4) Bagan
I return to the Far East to pay tribute to a site located in Myanmar. Bagan is something exceptional, a vast area dotted with temples, temples and temples. They are lost to infinity ... There are also panoramic points from which to contemplate one of the most spiritual places on earth. And for the more adventurous, I advise you to get in a hot air balloon and get yourself carried up!

5) The Prosecco hills
Finally, I will be patriotic but I particularly appreciate this recognition. Not only because it is a tribute to a now very popular wine even outside of Italy, perfect to brighten up the warm summer evenings, but also because credit must be given to all the winemakers to have protected a beautiful hilly landscape.

I’m ready for my personal next ranking of the new Unesco sites to 2020!
