I took the opportunity to discover the area known throughout the world for its excellent tea. The journey takes its time but it's worth it. Take a flight to Bagdogra, and after about 3 hours drive on mountain roads, you reach the small town of Darjeeling, whose name is the combination of the Tibetan word Dorje, lightning, and ling (place).

When we close our eyes and think of Indochina we cannot but visualize the Mekong River, the seventh longest in the world. It begins in Tibet and flows into the vicinity of Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam, after crossing Chinese Yunnan, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.

 

Here I am again to report the cruises that affect me not only for the routes but also for the special atmosphere on board that the type of boat and the staff can create.

I am in love with India for the many facets of this huge country, mistakenly identified only with Rajasthan, a wonderful region that cannot be missed. The purpose of this blog, however, is to tell about less popular places and unique ways to live them.
